Cakeadoodledo at Quicke’s. Also known as Cakeadoodletwo.

We are so proud to be here at Quicke’s. There have been Quickes farming and making cheese at Newton St Cyres for five centuries so it’s fair to say that they know what they are talking about and how to make a blooming good cheese. Check out their website and you’ll see how many global awards they have won.

We opened here in October 2016 and like to call ourselves the younger but bigger sister to Cakeadoodledo Exeter. We offer a far wider ranging menu here (look at the menus on our Facebook page). There’s an outdoor children’s play area and a toy corner inside with a huge blackboard wall for scrawling on.

Can we talk about Sundays? Sunday breakfasts are always good aren’t they? Yes they are. Now then – Sunday Roasts: a marvel. And very popular so we’d advise you to book…

We’re also licensed, so serve Hanlons Beers (brewed approximately 2 miles away) and Sandford Orchard Ciders (brewed approximately two miles away in the other direction) as well as wine. As with the Exeter Cakeadoodledo, dogs are most welcome inside the café.

We will be blogging about our new arrivals (living as well as baked goods!) so keep your eyes peeled.

We are on the A377 just outside Newton St Cyres. It is well signposted.
